        a bit of fun if you are on HF, there is the annual 13 colonies event which started today and runs until 8th July

        it is on various modes, ssb, CQ, FT8/4 etc and spread over the bands

        See http://www.13colonies.us/ for more information, late evening / early hours seems a good time for this as the stations are state side

        there are 3 bonus stations 

        TM13COL in france

        GB13COL in the UK 

        WM3PEN in the US

        you can get QSL card / award as well

        so go play radio and have some fun
