Although the RSGB’s not communicated anything formally to the training community yet, the RSGB’s November 2021 Board Minutes include the following statement:
“Syllabus V1.5 (includes EMF) due to be published Jan 2022, Questions to be included in exams, all levels, 6 months later.”
Unless there’s been a delay, that indicates that a) an update may be due in the next week-or-so, b) there will probably be no consultation on the changes, c) as trainers, we’ll need to update our course material and content ready for exams from August 2022, and d) new books.
For those using Essex Ham / HamTrain material, we’ll be updating this as soon as possible on receipt of the changes from RSGB.
