How do I find my nearest ham radio club?

There are around 400 clubs and amateur radio clubs in the UK, but some are more “active” than others

Your best bet is to try the RSGB’s Club Finder website. Sadly, this can sometimes be a little out-of-date, but it’s the best tool there is at the moment.

If you find that your local club isn’t doing what interests you, look around, or alternatively, consider one of the many virtual clubs that are out there, such as Essex Ham or OARC
